The Field Maintenance Technician is the eyes and ears in the field, responsible for completing service tickets in a designated territory. A Technician is to execute the work to the highest standards and display a high level of professionalism at all times. The nature of our business also demands that each individual is flexible and cooperative with fellow employees and customers. We are a team and must perform as one. All policies and procedures, both organizational and otherwise must be followed to ensure proper and safe working conditions for every individual entering our business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and work orders with minimum direct supervision.
  • Communicate with the office team and FOMs on open issues and progress of work assigned to oneself
  • Successful execution of assigned programs/work orders as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
  • Effectively document and communicate work required and executed out in the field.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including “on-call” availability

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of maintenance
  • General Skill Set in the Following: Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Painting, Drywall Repair, and Flooring Repairs (highly proficient in one or several fields is highly preferred)
  • Proficient computer and mobile phone skills (preferably iOS and Android)
  • Intermediate proficiency reading assembly and blueprint drawings.
  • Ability to provide own hand tools and toolbox suitable for the job (a list of those recommended will be provided).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and transport a load up to 80 lbs.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude

Job Title: Field Service Coordinator

Reports To (directly): Systems and Programs Manager

Reports To (indirectly): VP of Operations

 

Purpose:
We are currently seeking a Field Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling, re-scheduling, updating, and communicating the field service schedule in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. We are looking for someone with proven interpersonal skills, a team player with extreme multitasking skills, high drive, and energy. We are looking for a candidate that is reliable, honest, detail oriented and committed to their work.

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma (College Degree a plus)

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer literacy – Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Excel
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly accurate, conscientious, and able to work independently
  • Extremely dynamic and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Geography and Google Maps applications

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule work orders for field technicians within your assigned geographical territory
  • Close cooperation with office and field personnel to assist in the coordination of routine and complex jobs
  • Manage technician capacity within your assigned geographical territory to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded
  • Consistently meet or exceed departmental goals
  • Effectively manage field efficiencies and profitability within your assigned territory
  • Dispatch technicians to emergency service work orders
  • Perform routine audits of all field technicians’ schedules to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Participate in an “on call” rotation

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with operations management and/or field service scheduling
  • Knowledge of Service Administration processes, preferably in a Production or Service environment
  • Strong logistics and planning background.

Maintenance Supervisor

American Repair Maintenance LLC.

Location: Remote-Must be located in one of the following states “Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana”

 

This position will serve at the forefront, as a resource, for all technicians in their specified assigned area by representing the best interest and practices of American Repair Maintenance. Maintenance Supervisor will ensure technician adherence is up to par with the American Repair Maintenance standards, as outlined in the Technician Manual. This position will provide field support for the technicians, as well as the home office to ensure the completion of work orders. Overall, will look to ensure field is supported and compliance and quality is met.

 

Job duties:

  • Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by coaching, counseling, communicating job expectations; monitoring; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and advice during staff recruitment and ensure the proper onboarding and training process.
  • Confirm schedules in line with the organization’s maintenance goals and monitoring PM and SLA/ETA compliance.
  • Daily inspect work orders of team to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenance.
  • Oversee and enforce good record-keeping practices
  • Assist in assigning work to qualified team members.
  • Quarterly inspect the quality of performed maintenance work.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, and any updates to team.
  • Check that every single job is executed on time, to the budget, and without compromising building users’ safety.
  • Keep an eye on materials and equipment/tool inventory.
  • Help with the development of maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs like preventative maintenance.
  • Recommend upgrades, overhauls, and other changes to produce continued improvement of the field team.
  • Actively participate in projects.
  • Actively discuss staff-related challenges with senior management.
  • Communicate directly with client managers when necessary.
  • Conducting client post calls to confirm service, quality, and compliance when needed

Department: Client Service
Reporting Manager: Team Lead or Director of Client Relations
Role Description: Account Managers serve as a liaison between the client and ARM with their priority being to address the needs of our customers and respond to concerns in a quick and effective manner with the goal of developing and maintaining strong working relationships.
Role Objectives:
– Primary point of contact and owner for all matters regarding designated client concerns and needs
– Create, strengthen, and maintain client relationships by acting as a client advocate
– Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies for both clients and internal operations
– Knowledgeable about client policies and statement of work
Daily/Weekly Responsibilities:
– Manages and oversees day-to-day operations with clients
– Ensure client portals are up to date with progress reports and timelines
– Collaborates with outside departments to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to client needs
– Prepare reports on account status
– Track client assigned key performance indicators
– Deescalate client concerns and effectively communicate resolutions to address the concerns
– Generate proposals for client approval based on client and internal company guidelines
– Maintain up to date records of preferred skilled contractors by trade and region
– Partner with outside contractors/resources dependent on required scope of work
– Stays aware of best practices and recommends process developments for the client and internally
